Kizzy: Mum at 14

Did anybody watch this last night? It was on BBC three and it was quite a good watch. Although she did have help from parents etc I was really impressed with how she coped with parenthood. She was really good with her baby and was still determined to go back to school and was ambitious. I think 14 is too young to have a baby but it just goes to show that not all teen mums are bad mothers and hopefully all those prejudiced people who believe in the stereotypical teen mum can now view them with a more positive and open mind.

Yea I watched it last night but have seen it b4. So don't worry anyone who missed it they will defo repeat it. She is a strong girl falling preg at 13 and having the guy leave her with all the responsibility by leaving town. Her baby was so beautiful. Awww! I think she looked like she knew what she was doing she handled the baby very well.

Would not want one of my daughters in that situation. Think she seemed to have her head screwed on, wanting to get an education etc. But think she was lucky her family were able to help her so much

I watched it a while back, it was a very good programme. She has made a very hard decision, stuck by it and is still determined to make a good life for her and her baby by getting her education. She is a credit to her family (if you know what I mean, I don't mean by getting pregnant so young, but how she has dealt with the consequences)!

I think having support from your family plays a big part in whether you keep a baby or not, but at the end of the day, she is a good Mum! x

I think she was very lucky.. And also very brave! I was expecting a gobby teenager (abit hypocritical seeing as I'm 18 and pregnant) but she was actually the totally opposite. It was quite a nice programme
