I'm Currently Feeling:  | My Dad again.....
Hi girls... As some of you will know from last year I was not active on the forum for a while as My Dad was diagnosed with cancer, but he never accepted he had it and it was all a disaster as it seemed he had reacted well to treatment and the growth had gone after Radiotherapy. Anyway, he never accepted he had it, but the hospital has been keeping a close eye on him ever since. He went for an Endoscopy today, and they have found another growth in the upper bowel  they are booking and emergency MRI as they have no idea how long it has been there. He can't have chemo as he has a bad heart... I am currently waiting for my sister to come home with him and tell me everything, she phoned me from the loo's to prepare me! I know this type can be very aggressive, but we just have to wait and see if it has spread when he has the MRI. I can't believe this.......not one year without bloody cancer affecting my family for the passed 6yrs!!!!  He has not been the best Dad, even tho he thinks he has been OK......but he has certainly made an effort over this last couple of years since I lost my Mum, and I would hate to lose him now. Sorry, just wanted to get that off my chest! x |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | i hope he's ok... my dad had prostate cancer, and there has been a lot of cancer in both sides of my family. So although I can't imagine what you are going through, I do empathize. Here's to good news for him! |
