Look at this picture of the car seat
See the chest pads? do they provide protection in a crash. We are selling our old car seat on eBay and have mislaid the pads. I thought they added extra protection to the chest in a crash, where as my boyfriend doesn't think they will do much.
Do you think we should send it without the pads (although our ebay pic clearly shows them also) or shall we go mad looking for them? lol |

I'm Currently Feeling: | If those pads came with the seat when you bought it I don't think you shoudl sell that without - IMO Tilly! |

it's also false advertising to advertise it for sale with them when they aren't there |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Mind you, if you say that the chest pads are missing, very clearly, then it's not false advertising. I think it's more of a comfort thing that safety in regards to the chest pads. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thats what I thought, we have showed the car seat with the pads on and didn't state otherwise.. so we should include the pads. Sonny said it wouldn't matter too much, if they made a problem we could send them once we found them, but I wouldn't feel comfy doing that - especially thinking a baby could be at risk.
We got an ok price for it, so I hope we find them ASAP.. if not we will have to get some replacements.
Thx |

As long as it is clearly stated that the chest pads are missing a potential buyer would be able to make up their own minds wheter or not it is worthwile to buy the item. | | | | Status: Offline
