Believe it or not, the best thing to get stains out is BABY WIPES!!!
We have cream carpet and 5 cats so we sometimes have little "mishaps" where they dont actually wipe their bum when they come out of the litter tray (if you know what i mean). Baby wipes get it out first time, sometimes if the stain is pretty bad i just put a tiny bit of washing up liquid on it and it works a treat.
Let me know how you get on if you try them or if anyone else tries them for anything.
