in my area a 9 year old girl has gone missing.

I pray for the little girls safe return.

I can not believe it is so close to home.

I put that myself, but didnt want to afend anyone, i can not believe someone would let i 9 year old child walk home on her own.

Just hope she is safe and well.

Saw her poor distraught mum on the news this morning. I hope they find her soon/ or she comes back soon. Can't imagine how they are feeling

I frequent some true crime boards such as court tv, etc. It scares me that so many people and children go missing each week, especially children. It's terribly sad that people in this world can be so cruel and evil.

Since October, I've been following the Stacy Peterson case...very sad as well!

My heart really goes out to the parents
I let Emily walk home on her own, but saying that i can see her from my room window
Next year she is at middle school so will walk as well, but in a group

Theres a little boy in my road, his allowed to go out alone, walk to and from scholl. He goes to a club of some sort and you see him walking alone at 9pm. HJins @8yrs old, he is the oldest of what looks like 4 other kids.
I wouldnt let my child walk anyweher on there own until they are at least 12yrs old!

I've just been reading in the paper and it is a fair old walk to her school, nearly a mile, and looks like lots of place to hide in between

Hope she is found safe & well soon...as a mum this is my worst nightmare...my 9yr old begs me to let him walk home from school but I wont let him.
