Want to be engaged

I don't know whats wrong with me, but lately i've been so intent on wanting my OH to propose, it's eating up at me. I don't want to tell him this coz when he does, I want it to be his idea and coz he wants to spend the rest of his life with me, not just coz im having his child. I know he's thinking about it, as he asked me the other day if he ever did propose if he should ask my parents. I said no coz I want to be the first one to know.

I don't know why I feel like I need to be engaged, I don't know what is making me be annoyed at him even though he's wonderful. I was hoping he would do it on valentines day, but that didn't happen and I got really angry for it.

I don't know what my problem is, and i don't want to tell him coz then it's pressuring him. Sigh. Does anyone have any ideas what would make me feel like this?

Maybe it is the fact you are pregnant and you want that extra security?! Hormones are a nasty thing when they want to be, and can make you feel very insecure at times. Failing that, I do not have a clue hun! But hope he asks you soon!

I feel exactly the same way .. my DP has a saying which he says in a weird voice "Lets Get ...." then waits for me to say "Married" Lol. Its like a little joke but i like it .. makes me think hes thinking about it. Hes said before one day he'll make me Mrs.? and i'll be happy .. Im 28+5 with our first child together and now i want that extra security more then ever.
Only thing is he is confusing .. he asks me casually but doesnt actually mean it ... well i dont think he does. im so fed up with it i just say im not going to answer you until u mean it. At my mums the other day they were talking about my aunt being late to her own wedding and he turnt round n said he wouldnt be late to his .. my mum said no you'll be there early lol but he said no im not getting married.

Men Confusing or what?

Any ideas on how to make him realise its what i want?

my OH wants to get engaged once the baby is here so no ill minded people cant say "ooooh theyre only doing it because shes pregnant" he did mention after ive had the bub in hospital he'll propose. WE SHALL SEE

I think it would be better for Lee to propose to me when im not pregnant, so its not because were having a baby, its because he loves me and wants to be that commited to me without having a definate reason.

I dont actually want to be married anyway any time soon so i dont have to worry

Is it weird that I am the complete opposite? I don't want my OH to propose. I know, weird. We weren't planning this pregnancy, so I feel like a proposal would be cooerced or something. I don't know. Besides, the last thing I want to do in addition to planning for LO is plan a wedding!! Hehe.
