Hello all ,

Sorry i know this is unususal but if any of you are local to padiham, altham, read, burnley area please please can you keep a look out for a friends dad (see pic below), He is 83yrs old, & is suffering from dementia he has gone missing & hasn't been seen since saturday evening.

I know Jesse personally & both his 2 sons, He is well known in my town of padiham but not sure if he really ventured out of padiham but thought it was worth a shot for the surrounding towns.

Please if anyone see's him or thinks they have seen him, Can you either contact myself or the burnley police on 01282 772212 .

7th November 09 Saturday
Just had word Jesse Shaw has been found in our home town by a river ( calder ). Its been 3 wks since Jesse went missing with dementia & there hadn't been any sightings at all. I know the bloke who found him too, We're in a small town where everyone knows everyone basically but we're just waiting confirmation .

Is he the man missing from the nursing home? If it is, im afraid to say they found a body near the train station. It was on the 6pm news. x

No he lives on his own in padiham hun . I think the one your on about is in wiltshire, poor chap though x

Hope you find him safe and well, if I was local I would go out and look for you. I know the worry of having a vulnerable person go missing.

Im not far from Burnley - just a short bus ride away so I will definately keep my eyes open for him.Hope he is ok,his poor family and friends must be worried sick
