Feeling really low atm so thought I'd rant so you ladies can tell me it's normal and I can feel a little better.
My day started out rubbish when I woke up to no water or electricity. Apparently a waterpipe burst the opposite side of the road and the '1-2 hour max' time limit turned into 9 hours. I ended up washing with babywipes, getting dressed and having to walk the 5 miles to our nearest shop for water for my lo. I got back to find the leccy was then off because the plonkers fixing the waterpipes had done something accidently to one of the electric boxes (or something like that, don't understand it) and the whole street was without leccy.
By now my poor boy was hungry and I was without a car as my dad is a macanic and I'd just got a new car so was around his for him to change the break pads. Had to call my dad to come get us so I could go around and feed him and thought Id have a shower while I was there.
As I went in the front room I could see my mums face as she came off the phone. My grandmother who lives over 300 miles away had been rushed into hospital with a hemerage from an operation she had last week. So angry as she was sent home with it and told if she felt bad in a few days to go to her gp? She's now in having 2 blood transfusions. I'm petrefied she'll give up at 83 as she told me last week that although she loves us all she does'nt want to be here anymore.
Get back to the house to find that I stupidly didn't shut the door to the dog food cupboard up properly and Ribbon has gotten into the food and has got the quits all over the living room and kitchen and I have no water to clear it up properly with.
Then I come over all hot and feel sick (probably the dog squits) and go throw up, then I come over in agony with period type pains that are doubling me up.
Dog is really dehydrated so off we go to the vets to start paying their morgages again and paid £40 to be told that she does'nt have a temperature, isn't dehydrated and gums are a nice colour so to take her home and give her probiotic yogurt. Could have told them that myself, just wanted something to dry her up so threw some charcoal down her.
Oliver is due to go for photos tomorrow and managed to get his mitten off that I've kept glued to him for the last few days and has put a really long scratch down his face.
I got leccy back at 3.30pm and water at just gone 4pm. By which time I realised I was supposed to be going to see the physio with lo. Start to drive over and find they've got 1/2 the road up and get stuck in traffic for 25 mins making me even more late and had to reschedule the appointement.
Rant over
