Hi there i'm new, must remember to properly introduce me and my family in a mo.

I am currently really needing some reassurance/advice. Me and my boyfriend had sex with a condom but after everything was finished it had come off, I'm beginning to worry that i may be pregnant, Its not the first time it has happened and i've always got the morning after pill, but i didnt want to this time as they'll be thinking that i don't use anything.

I charted my ovulation days based on my 28 day cycle i am due to be ovulating from the 14th to the 18th of february and the unprotected sex took place 7 days before - thing is i work in sexual health and i know that the sperm can live for up to 7 days.

I have a 7 month old baby girl called Lillyann and am in a steady relationship with my partner and we're even thinking about getting married someday

I know that if i did become pregnant it would be hard but we would just get on with it.

Any advice on this? thanks

hey hun, obviously there is a chance there that you could be pregnant, but it only seems very slim, as you were using a condom, did it just come off afterwards ? and as your are a week before ovulation this narrows your chances too. I guess all yuo can do is wait and see, but wether pg or not everything will work out ok. there are a few girls on here with small age gaps between their little ones and they would be able to give you lots of advice. I think it is nice to have 2 close together. good luck, and welcome to the forum

7 days before ovulation! Chances are slimmer ... 3-5 days before would be more risky although there is info that sperm can live up to 7 I think its less likely.

You can also buy the after pill over the counter - pricey mind!

I think the chances are slim, as you say its not the first time its happened have you thought about trying a different size / make of condom or the pill?
