We still do not have a new roof. Been over a month now... But oh well. The contractor determend that it was going to cost more than he thought. This is due to the fact that we need to add plywood sheets to the entire roof. (ours never had them - long story) So we thought that we were going to have to come up with $2100.00 .
Well we have an awesome insurance company and they will cover the cost for the sheets because our house never had them.
So all in all.... our new roof will cost $7600.00 and our insurance company will pay for it. All we have to do is pay our $500.00 deductable
We were even able to squeez in new gutters into the deal.
Im so thrilled!!! Construction starts next Friday!!!! I hope there are cute guys working on my roof....Will take pictures.
Now we decided to go with a dark almost black roof....
does not match my house....so we are going to paint our house this summer to match our new roof!!!!!!!
