How bloody appauling is this story yet again another case where the system fails to do anything other than screw with other peoples lives. I just can't imagine how this poor girl was left mentally after that never mind before.

Then I read this - I know its from last year but whole thing sickens me:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6297573.stm

Quote:
The MPs fear a rise in the number of young children being taken into care in England and Wales is linked to pressure on councils to increase adoption rates.
Quote:

The government said the courts decided on care cases but there had to be evidence a child was being harmed.
WTF!! I'm shocked. Screw up young peoples lives & tear away families for 'rates'! Am I bloody missing something here!

i think its disgusting that no one at the hospital questioned this. surely between social services and the nhs, you would think some one would know the correct legal procedure

That is just such bad practice, wtf? how can they justify taking children from their parents and causing them emotional upheaval for the sake of some rates???!!! Who on earth makes up these bloody rates, wtf were they thinking. Sorry to rant- just disgusts me, these people are parnets not monsters and if there was hint of problems then correct procedures should have been carried out.
