house plants

hi,ive got a scented jamsin house plant in my toilet room and it stinks.
every time i go in it sticks,i know its just the plant but it seems to smell like wee. hubby says it doesnt but i dont know.
its defenetly not wee so it must be the jasmin plant.
my parent in laws are coming down thursday and im worried they will think it smells of wee and that someone has wee'd on the floor or i havnt clean the toilet.

sorry if this is a load of rubbish but just had to vent,as such.

It could be that the pregnancy hormones are making your more sensitive to the plants smell?

Yea my first thought when i read your post was maybe you have an increased sense of smell to wee? try and get a 3rd persons opinion on it and see if they smell anything. It is possible the smell is there and your DH doesn't think it's anything wrong lol i know my DH would think a fart smells normal in a room lol sometimes i think men are immune to those kind of smells! could be their public toilets being so filthy

i could take it out of their but it looks nice.
i know its the plant that is stinking coz ive put my nose near it and it is its not my toilet smelling.
it may just be hormones.

its a nice sweet smell and it might just be my mind telling me it smells of wee coz its in the toilet.
what you think.
