Honey

Is fantastic!! My mum swears by it as a 'cure-all' eg takes a spoonful when she has a cold etc... Also good for scars! I have scars from a dog bite and wore a bandage with honey on it for a couple of days and it actually made a noticeable difference!!! (Although you're meant to put it on healing wounds for best results...the moisturising properties of honey still helps a lot though!)

Also for ACNE! I've been getting stressed about various things over the past couple of months; recently being my Grandad's admittance to hospital, mum has had suspected swine flu and soooooooooo on...which never fails to bring me out in spots...not BIG ones mind, loads of irritating little pimples on my forehead etc... So I tried applying some honey and leaving it for 15 minutes after I'd had a shower... OMG! It's awesome, I am actually as ridiculously excited about it as I sound! I had one of those big b*stards that won't do anything, just hurts and you mess until it scabs and looks horrid...Honey took it down within a couple of hours, it was great!!

Anyway, so hyperactive rant about honey at 6 in the morning! Seriously though, try it out, it really is fantastic! I put about a teaspoonful in a bowl, microwaved it for 10 seconds and applied a thin (THIN, first time it was dripping off my face!) coat all over my face...left it for 15 minutes. It really does wonders.

Oh I love honey! I sit and eat it off the spoon. My fav is the cloudy honey on toast.

Not bad for bee vomit, eh?
