As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. I have been to Sault Ste. Marie once Got questioned and searched at the boarder when crossing because I wasnt sure how long I was going for or even how long I was going to be there. Was just out for a drive with a Friend (we where skiing in Michagian) Was very funny. Bought a Beanie Baby there |

About 9 years ago I went back there for my brother's wedding. First time I was back in 20 years. After the rehearsal party, my brother's best man (a cop from out of town), his girlfriend and my OH and I went across the border to a bar. At the end of the night, we hailed a cab and a group of girls wanted to split the cost. These girls were hitting on my OH during the ride, touching his hair etc.
When we got back to the Ontario side, the group of girls started saying that they gave the cabbie money and were trying to scam my OH. Well, we got into a huge fight with them. They finally left, but I guess they got into their car and came to find us again. Oh, it was a mess! My brother's best man couldn't and wouldn't do anything as he was a cop from out of town. His girlfriend didn't do a thing either. So here is my OH trying to hold the girls back from coming at me. And when one would get loose, that one would be in front of me. I was letting my verbal outbursts come out, that's for sure.
All I could picture was us going to jail and with my brother's wedding the next day, it would have been horrible. We had a good laugh the next day!
Funny enough too, we were trying to talk my brother (the groom and a cop too) and his other groomsmen into coming with us to this bar. Thank goodness they didn't. |
