My best friend is on her way to the hospital to deliver!!! I woke up at 5:30am for no reason and was thinking about her hoping she was gonna call and she did!!! Ooooh im so excited for her Shes having a girl!!!

I was going to go back to sleep but there's no way I can fall asleep now lol. They are going to let me know when she's come so that I can head over to the hospital. Her mom just came last saturday from another province so that was good timing!!! I wish I could be there for the birth but I know they only allow like 2 people. Husband and second primary or whatever so her mom.

Awh, that's great. I hope it's a quick one for her. x

Well I got to see her and she's till laboring. Contractions started at 3:30 am and when I got kicked out she was 7cm and was getting an epidural. So she should be having the baby and minute now. Shes so very close. It was nice to see her and my mom is sending her flowers. I've known her since I was 7 so we've been friends for a very long time. I can't wait to meet her little girl

Congratulations to her

Well she finally had her baby around 8 clock our time! I got to go see her for a little while and her contractions were pretty close together but she still wasn't dilated. They had already given her morphine to take the edge off and at 7cm they gave her the epidural which was a mistake. She was so close and because of the drugs it delayed her labor by quite a few hours. Her body just wasn't responding even though she was 10cm. They were only going to give her a few hours otherwise they were going to think about doing a csection. So i'm glad the labor finally progressed and she didn't need a c sec.
But she finally had the little one 7lb 5oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Considering her size I thought she would have only had a 6lb baby!!! That little baby was tucked up there pretty good LOL So I can finally stop worrying and going nuts waiting to hear from them. Im so excited to see Emmerson Rose Gauley tomorrow I will make sure to take a couple pics if I can.

Aah thats great and what a lovely name as well.
