can i cook....


can i cook sweetcorn on the cob in a steamer? or a microwave?
my oven isnt working and got corn on the cob for tea and im just trying to figure out how i can cook them.

if i can how long will they take?
they are half the length of a 'normal' sized corn on the cob.

I'm Currently Feeling: 


I've never done it in a microwave but I think you can do it in a steamer. You can also boil it in water on top of the stove...

i know i can boil it on the hob but i cant as my cooker isnt working.

Hi x

I cook my corn in the microwave. Place it in a deep bowl with hot water and cook for 5mins (on a 800w ). roll it around and cook for a further 5 mins.

i do my carrots in 4 minutes in my normal hob steamer...
