my OH just text me saying that this year we should get eachother something to keep and something personal or something lol! but what do u get a 25 year old typial man as a 'keepsake' without it being a really shit gift at the same time lol x
How about a watch with something engraved in it? i dunno, men all wear watches right? lol
i dunno if you guys are into this kind of thing...but DH and i like to pick out a Swarovski crystal or a similar keepsake we can put in a display cabinet for Birthdays and anniversaries and such like that. Our collection is still small, as we only started when we got married a year ago, but the couple of items we do have are each special and we like to view and show them off and say "this we got on my 21st Birthday" or "these 2 turtles were our gift to each other for our anniversary!" i think over time as the collection grows, it will be marvelous. But i think these kind of items are nice one-time gifts as well, definitely something that can be treasured over time.
I wish I could help you but I don't even know what i'll get hubby for Valentines Day, he has to be one of the worst men to shop for. Usually every guy has his thing, like sports or something, be he has nothing except the army! So i'd definately like to hear people's responses to this
i got my husband an expensive pen and had it engraved with the words "my other half" , i like the baby idea its cute too. a watch is also great that you can have engraved, but probably pricey.
You can get those the day you born things personalised to something else like the day we met and it had loads of info on that day ... I have one from when I was born also one for the day we met/got together which I think was a valentine gift!
