Im starting driving lessons in February and need to do some revision! I have been lent a book and a CD with some tests on, but on a few questions they seem to be a little out of date (no major details, but enough to notice and think wth is the right answer then?). They were made in 2004 and say they contain the new questions for 2005-2006.
Do you think it's worth buying a new CD and book set?
Anyone know where I can get them cheap? I was going to look on Play
What do you suggest I get for some good revision? I don't want to waste money on loads of different things, just get some books/cd that I actually need and will benefit me!
get urself a copy of the highway code, and the latest theory test book/software, things change so very often it is better to be up to date i got mine in waterstones(book shop) for about £10
Thanks, yea we have Waterstones but im going to be lazy and order online lol.
Also, I was just reading in this leaflet about practising in my own time with someone, does that mean I can drive my boyfriends car in a quiet place with him helping me? Scary.. I can just about start the car, if that.
i dont drive yet either lol, so dont quote me on this!
im sure the person who is "teaching" you( ur oh) is allowed to take u out, and u can drive as long as there are L plates on the car, they have a full license, and is over 25, and has been driving for over 5 years...

(goes to google)
Grr then!! he thought it was if you've been driving for 3 years (which he since early this month) and he's 21.
Once you are 17, you can have driving lessons with a driving instructor. You can also practice with another adult sitting sitting with you.
The rules are:
The driver sitting with you must be 21 years old and must have held a full driving licence (not provisional) for at least 3 years (for the type of vehicle you'll be practising in)
The car you use must be insured for you to drive it, be fitted with 'L' plates at the front and back and be in a safe and roadworthy state
i'll have to start showing him what that GTi can do lmao *crash*
