if you get a manual license you can drive either a manual or an automatic, but if you get an automatic license you can only drive an automatic. I've only ever drove manuals, sorry I'm not more help

Start learning how to drive on an automatic so you get comfie with driving...but I would learn how to drive a stick shift too. My folks made me learn both before they let me get my license.

We'll I've been learning in a manual. I think that if you learn in manual straight away it will be easier, but I've never driven an automatic.

My test is a week tomorrow! I've had around 32 hours driving [32 lessons] and for the average 17 year old it's 40 hours till your ready for your test so I think I'm doing good I just hope I pass!

yeah I thought it was wobbles... It was quite nice not having so many things to worry about...

I'd say you're probs best off going with a local instructor.. they dont seem to be as pricey as large national companies.

My driving instructor always said... BSM stands for Bring Some Money. Bless him.

xx
