Ordered Bethanie a fair bit from Next for summer. She is 1 year and almost a month old so I got 1 1/2 - 2 years as she has always been a slightly chunkier baby. Some of the stuff is massive on her, so I can tell that will fit and have room to grow into as well, where as some of the stuff looks like it almost fits her now. Do babies grow a lot between 1-2? or do you think she won't get a lot bigger and the stuff will fit around Summertime?
I don't want to order the stuff too big, don't know whether to send stuff back and re-order nearer the time (risk the stuff not being in stock) or just keep it?

What do you think?

Tilly, there is also a chance (a high one) when Bethanie is on her feet properly that she will actually lose weight with all the running about etc.

I had the same problem with Rebecca (altho she has always been a lanky baby) when she was on her feet running about she shed the lbs. For eg-waist wise 12-18 months are still big on her but height wise she can be 2-3.

I thought the same KX, shes lost a bit of weight crawling around.. now shes at the stage of wanting to pull herself up all the time and moving along furniture so I thought it'd drop off. ty
Also, forgot to say that Bethanie likes her food but she is also very long (at the min shes in 12-18 months mainly in her jeans and most tops depending on the shop).

Do you/or anyone else know with Next, if I can leave the tags on.. then come summer will I be able to take back/swap what doesn't fit? I ordered online.

Me too, but I remember when we got Bethanie some stuff in store when I was 20 weeks pregnant - the lady said to keep the tags on just in case they didn't fit or it was a boy.. :S

Next have a Mid Season Sale is summer so as long as the items don't go in that sale you can take them back without a receipt-say it was a gift and get money back on a refund card. If they go in the sale all you will get is the sale price back..

Sorry but I am a Next worshipper, I am obsessed with Next baby/toddler clothes

I asked the right person then lol, we've decided to risk it as some of the tops for example are only a bit tighter than I expected on her arms.. but she has chubalub arms!! so the more she toddles and joins in with our meals, the more she will lose! plus shes on the cows milk now and I know formula bloats them a lot. Got her some lovely stuff! must have bought out almost the whole range lol.

I didn't realise how much we shopped at Next until I was sorting through my receipts earlier, they do lovely kids stuff.

because its from next id say send it back and re order just before there sale starts, because before the summer im sure theres a summer sale, i ordered a few bits from the next site 2 days before christmas, i got some of it the day before christmas and what i recieved after christmas i got at sale price even thought i baught it when it was on as full price. but then ive ordered stuff off there now and my baby isnt even born yet so im just being a bit of a hypocrite lol x

It's either June or july as mid August they start getting Autumn stuff in!
