Courier advice

Hi guys

I want to sell 2 prams that i have, and think i would have a much better chance of them selling if i can post them.

I have no idea how to go about it tho, i have only ever posted small things at the post office, how do i post a pram? and how to i wrap it up? lol

Sorry if this sounds thick, i have never done it before

Maybe get some big boxes? Like the boxes you buy to move house but obviously long tall ones.

I know its a little different but I once sold a car bumper (Don't ask) and just bubble wrapped it and then covered it in brown parcel paper.

I think couriers charge by weight... If I remember correctly and I dont think its cost me that much to send... It was such a long time ago so dont quote me on it.

http://www.parcel2go.com/ ask for weight of item but you don't have to fill it in - once the guy came to pick something up (big box) and I was like what if you can't weigh it and he said as long as its a one man box not MASSIVE or heavy needing two persons its fine & costs around a tenner

Ya know what a load of bubble wrap around teh pram to prevent scratching would do the job OR boxes that are smaller but wide enough to go around the pram if you cut at one crease?

Just an idea!

The problem I have with them is they lost a laptop and an iPod that was being delivered (two seperate shipments) to me thank God they were insured so I got a replacments but it was over 2 months before i got them and I also have never recieved a package on the date that it says it is being delivered on their website!!!
Also any time I rang their customer services nobody could give me a straight answer of where my package was or what date it was being delivered. The only time I recieved a package on time was when I rang them EVERYDAY and basically sat on them until I got my package I'd say they were cursing me but it was Ravens charm bracelet so I wasn't taking any chances cause its irreplacable!!!

But in saying that my job uses them all the time and they've never had any trouble with them.
