New details are emerging about the scary night that Britney Spears took one of her children hostage!
According to new reports, it was the court-appointed monitor that called police when Unfitney began behaving erratically on Thursday.
"She had already put Preston in the car when Britney locked herself in a room with Jayden," a source tells People. "The cops came and got through the door and tied her down to a gurney."
LAPD called the incident an "ongoing investigation."
Sean Preston was taken to the hospital by Federline's assistant, and Jayden James was in the ambulance with the monitor, a source says, adding that the boys "won't be back with [Spears] for a long time."
By all accounts, Britney suffered a severe mental breakdown last night.
“They had to strap her down like a mental patient and she was going between laughing and hysterics,” a source tells Us Weekly, calling it “a total psychotic breakdown. She just went crazy."
Another Spears pal says: "I guess she has good days and bad days - it's mental instability. All she has is to think of something sad and she goes crazy.”
Britney's dad, Jamie, remains at the hospital.
Hopefully she will finally get the help she needs.

I feel really sorry for her, she obviously hasn't had good people around her to end up like this, she married that looser and then i heard her mum was writing a book about her life. She really needs to get help
I hope someone is able to give her the help she actually needs. Its a shame as i doubt she'll ever get them back now, or evern see them, for a while anyway. She's her own worst enemy in many ways, but i really feel for her.
Does anyone know if theres any truth in the rumours she's pregnant again? I doubt it very much, but i hope for her sake she isnt becuase that child will just be taken at birth
I think rather than gossiping about her the poor woman should be left in peace to sort her life out. The paps have a bloody lot to answer in the pursuit to find the juciest picures and the hottest stories in order to make a fast buck. A lot of people are quick to judge her and her parenting skills but dont forget she's famous we're not just imagine if life was the other way around. Sorry if any of this sounds harsh but its the truth
