As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. I'm Currently Feeling: | i think maybe im missing the point here, i still dont understand why youd want one to fake having a child, to pretend to people in public you have a child and to technically lie to everyone whilst your out and about, it's deception, lying, pretending and pathetic IN MY OPINION! i feel for people who have lost babies etc and want them for this, and i feel theres nothing wrong either with collecting them for a hobby, if people want to spend so much money on them for a hobby, let them, but it wound me up to be frank, i hate the fact that she is lying to people about having a 'baby' ITS A DOLL FFS! sorry, the more i watch it and the more i hear, the more im against them, but ONLY if people pretend theyre real | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I watched this programme and I found it very strange. I can kind of understand that maybe some people would want to collect them and keep them in their home ( I wouldn't!!), but for an adult to take the doll out in a pram and put it in a car seat to go shopping is very strange to me. Isn't that something a 6 year old would do? If I at the age of 30 were to walk down the road with a toy dog on a lead I'm certain people would think I'm crazy - you just wouldn't do it - same goes with taking the re-born dolls out in prams/car seats. I’m sorry but I do not think this behaviour is ‘normal’, they may not be harming anyone but I believe they are doing harm to themselves. There are just something’s in life that are best kept private!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have to admit....those babies looked mighty real...
Thats a little eerie - but in a sense, I do understand why some would do it.
I wouldn't, but that would be because I would be afraid I would grow an attachment.
But, in the bigger picture, women do crazy things to become a mother.
Some people would say that spending 10s of thousands of dollars on IVF treatment is crazy (not me, but some people) - and some people would think peeing on a stick daily is crazy? The point I'm making is "crazy" is different in everyones eyes. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | WOW. The price.... Thats scary, that people would pay that much. I'm really sorry to people who don't think thats weird.. Cos yeah I treat my cat like a child, but my cat is alive, she interacts with me. She doesn't lay there all glassy eyed.
The husband of the lady who got the doll of her grandson Harry said the doll looked like something you'd see on a morgue slab... I'm starting to agree there, sorry. |
