I'm Currently Feeling:

my nephew

My nephew (oh's brothers son) is only 9 and a half months old and he is their first child. I feel so sorry for him, in my opinion they dont feed him properly, they say they want him to eat what they eat, but all they eat is crap. For his lunch the other day he had a cuppa soup with bread in it!!!! And then this morning they give him sugar puffs for his brekkie! Does anyone else find this wrong or is it just me? He is already a big baby, dont know how much he weighs but he was 24lbs at 7mths and he wasnt a big baby when he was born.

Also my daughter's got a quad, its only a small one but its a real petrol one, and anyway my bro-in-law is wanting to take baby out on it 2morro!! Now, i dont agree with this at all and am so not happy bout it! But i cant say anything cos it would jut cause a massive argument.

Izzie's nearly 9 months and is only 22lb's if thats anything to go by, she's slightly smaller though, and isnt eating solid foods very well. We're still having probs with her eating but still, i dont think it's contributed too much to her weight, she's just a booby girl i think no matter how we try to stop it.

I'd rather stay outta the whole quad thing lol and see others opinions about it, im in two minds myself, sorry to not be much help x

All babies are different my DS was very skinny & under weight, @12 months saw a dietician wo told us to feed him fatty food, cream & ice cream, chips, to get him fat, then worry about fruit etc when he's overweight. He's still skinny now.

DD1 was a little chunk, fat rolls on her legs, ate plenty fruit, veg yoghurt, very little crisps, chocolate etc, but once she got to eightenn months and running everywhere she lost all her baby fat.

DD2 iss 9 months old and about 18lb, she lost 7oz a month ago and has to bck to HV this week, she is now a rolly baby and rolls around everywhere. She eats plenty so who knows.

In light of recent events no comment on quad bike.
