eBay.. grr


So I didn't use eBay really before but I found something that was perfect for OH.. so I got it..

I won the auction & paid June 11.

Seller messaged me June 24 saying it was mailed and he'd be out of town until July 3.

Item hasn't arrived yet,

I messaged him yesterday, figured I'd leave him for the weekend... early in the day (and he's in BC so even earlier in his day).. now 6pm almost the next day and no response. After tomorrow if I don't hear anything, since that would be 2 full business days, should I contact him again or ??

I need to leave feedback and I don't want to be negative if it's an honest postal related issue before giving him a fair chance, but how long is a "fair chance" lol.

I'm really annoyed, like I said this item is perfect for my OH, I'm going to be so mad, even if it's not his fault, if I don't get it

I would give him a couple days more before doing the feedback but would send another message asking him to contact you and let you know the situation with the item - something I always do is say that I'm buying whatever for my OH birthday when buying it and ask them to send it quickly as birthday is in a few days...

Sorry girls if any of these sellers is you

I'd wait a couple days, message him again, if he still doesn't reply then i'd report him.

I'd message again.

Did you pay with Paypal?
I had something like that happen to me before, and I went to paypal and ended up getting my money back because I never got the package.

^ Yeah it was through PayPal.

It's so annoying.. like the money isn't a huge deal to me, I want the item ... obviously I want my money back if it doesn't come though lol

I would report it, you can open up a dispute and paypal or ebay will contact the seller and try to resolve the issue for you. you sometimes get bad people on ebay who try to make you wait as long as poss before they contact you, i had one who kept saying oh i will refund you next week, then the next week, etc, and they never did, if i had of waited any longer i wouldnt have been able to open a dispute as you only have a certain amount of days to do so.

Yeah except for one other item, the comment was:

-- he never sent me my item
then he said if you spoke to me i would have explained and refunded
then a 'i take it back'

do you have a tracking # from him? Was it shipped from within Canada or is it possible it's being held up at the border? I know sometimes that has happened to me. Hope it turns up!!

It was shipped within Canada. British Columbia to Ontario.
