Cut a long story short, we arranged to get sonny's mum a digital photo frame and were going to cut the costs with his brother as a gift from us all.
Sonny went to ask his brother for the money a few nights ago and he said "actually, im buying it on my own now..." so he's basically dropped us right in it.
She loves Next, the house is like something from a Next catalogue lol.. but I don't want to get her too much "home" stuff as it's not really a gift for her you know?? more for the house.
We got her a pretty frame from Next, but we are so stuck what else to get her! she doesn't want perfume, she said shes funny with smells (toiletries etc) - which means, "don't buy me any". Plus I find her hard to read and Sonny has no idea whatsoever!
His dad said she needs a new earring stand, but it's a bit late for eBay now.. so shit.
She hates anything like that. She bought a BMW and got a free health spa day, then gave it to my mum.. so me and mum went, it was amazing but his mum said she can't do anything like that!
She has her eyebrows tinted at the beauty place and her hair done but I don't think she is the type of lady to like vouchers etc? gifts are important to her as she likes to feel that her sons have put some thought into it.
I could have gone mad in Next, wanted these candles for her £16.. but that price for candles that she might not like? hmm.. hard one!
Also said MIL by mistake, MIL to be, should I say.. hopefully.

I don't even know if she loves candles, she has a few.. Put it this way, if it was my mum id have no problems at all, but I say to Sonny "what does she like?" "what did you get her past christmas's(sp?)?" but he said "uh, I dunno".

hmm thats a toughie... i would say a gift card but you said she doesnt really care for vouchers...Do you know what size clothes she wears? Could get her a night gown or some slippers,socks, or shoes...hmm or a basket full of her fave cookies, candies etc?
You scared me, his brother is called Jamie lmao.. not that he'd be on a pregnancy forum, but still!
I know what size clothes she is, but she is hard to buy for! we got her slippers originally, but gave them for her birthday at the beginning of December instead. Socks are a no go I think, shoes.. again shes fussy? ahh
