Helium Balloons

Hey girls, just a quick q

Where's the best place to get helium balloons from in your opinion?

I want to get some for friday (Sebs due date) to release on the moors... we're going to tie poems to them, and a return address and see how far my angel makes them travel.

Aw thats a lovely idea.

Anyway, personally I'd steer clear of big chain stores like Clintons and Birthdays and go for an independant store. Theyre usually a lot better because they need to be good as they get most of their business through word of mouth.

Ebay is probably the easiest.
Party/events shops or websites too.
You can get small canisters of helium for about £30

You can get these from Asda:

Not sure how much they were, maybe around £20-£30 from what I remember. If you don't need that many, then I would try Birthday's, Clinton's or my local Matalan who have the party shop. Good luck!

If you dont want to faff about with canisters and so on then go to local party shop or clintons and they will do them in there for you Also Florists will do it, and will be cheaper if u already have the balloons.

I think its a lovely idea, the morning of my wedding I let a balloon go up for my mum with a poem attatched to it. Word of warning, balloons without hellium in wont go up... lol xx

We always go to Matalan Party shop.
The balloons always last weeks! (Well the foil one's anyway. Normal balloons from there are good too.)
