Baring in mind iv just cleaned her out iv had to clean her weel out again cos she shit and it made her weel stick.

they chew anything, my daughter keeps 'peachy' in her room and numerous times she has came down with gaping holes in her clothes where shes chucked them too close to the cage and she's managed to get them

hamsters are lil rascels, there teeth continually grow so they need to keep chewing so they dont overgrow causin problems!
When our lil belle was alive she managed to break a tooth, within 3 days it had fully grown back was evry weird!!

i know their teeth are constantly growing, was just wondering why she was gnawing on the bars when she has a wooden tunnle for that purpose. Silly hamster.

I've had loads of Hamsters and they all did this! Its very frustrating at night time!
Whats your hamster called?
We had Artimis, Cerridwen, Litha and Honey. I can't remember the other names :s

We couldent think of a name for her. Our last one was called Mille and this one is called Pringle!

My degus do the same thing! They have a little plastic house that they have chewed like crazy on and they have also chewed on a couple of the little latches that hold their cage together, and on some bars! I agree with the ball and poop thing lol...so annoying!

All of my hamsters did it, so annoying at night when you are trying to sleep. I even slept with a night light for awhile when i had mine to try and trick mine into thinking it was day time and then would put a blanket over it during the day but it would just pull the blanket in during the day and keep chewing at night.
