I met him in Rio in the 90's and all I can say is he's an old man, suffering with his health (he was back then so evenmoreso now), he didnt boast about his past then, I doubt he's begun now.
I think its a grudge and silly and he should be allowed out to live out his probably, limited time.
Such a waste of tax payers money - and rather draconian imo

I feel there is a HUGE diffrence between ROBBERY and MURDER!!!!!!
But here in South Africa people MURDER and they get out after 2years....
So i say let the poor man go.. to his family, children,grandchildren he is so old now what is he going to do!!!!!! And who gives a *&^% if he is going to boast about it... by next year he has altsheimers and can't even remember what he had done!!!!!!!

Im seriously not joking this is how i see it.....

Let him out. Has anyone else noticed how financial crimes seem to carry heavier punishments than ones that actually affect people? Seems wrong to me.

No he commited a crime and he should pay for it... just cos its along time ago doesnt make him any different to any one else in prison.

he shud be let out

he only robbed a train .not like he killed any one

and if that train was near me i would have robbed it aswell

he was doing what other does provide for hes family .didnt murder no one

and it was
untraceable money aswell thats even better
