etsy question & an eBay question


I bought an item on June 13/09 and I checked "my etsy"; It still just says "received payment"-- the seller hasn't shipped it yet. I haven't received it or heard from the seller..

The eBay issue is an item I bought from within Canada on June 14.. paid for it & shipping and haven't received it yet, I got a message saying it had been shipped but I don't have it yet.

I guess the eBay one I should be a bit more patient waiting for. But what to do about the etsy one? And how long should I wait reasonably?

Both these sellers have 100% pos feedback so far

The ebay one within Canada - well I have waited 17 days for a letter from Ottawa to arrive in BC! Have you emailed the seller to ask when (date) they actually shipped it? Tell the seller you still haven't received it and give it a few more days afterwhich ask the seller what they are prepared to do, if you don't recieve it at all Also ask if they have any proof of postage, then either of you can take it up with the postal service.

Etsy is a place where work at home moms sell their products.

Tasha I would def contact the seller, most ladies on there have really great customer service, I have bought on there a few times (all kids related items though) but see if she emails back. If she doesn't get back to you within a couple days I would open a paypal claim (if that's how you paid) and that should get her attention

He's out of town he said in his msg until July 3. I guess if it hasn't arrived by then I can contact him. I had 2 items from the USA arrive already that I bought the same day.. one came in 5 business days, the other came on Friday..

I know it's too bad this is the first time I have had a problem on etsy, they're usually very good! This is so frustrating for me.
