Calling all Computer geeks

I need your help please

I need a lead that connects from the back of my lap top in to the back on my tv.

the out put on my lap top is a 15 pin VGA output but on my tv i only have a scart lead, is there such a cable?

My dad says i need a VGA output on my tv too and said they are only found on new tv's but i think it can be done (stuborn old me lol)

Can anyone help me find the lead i need and does it even exsit?

2m Scart Lead to 15 Pin HD-VGA Cable
21 Pin Scart Plug - 15 Pin Female High-Density D-connector Cable
Please Note this is not to connect pc from moniter port to tv or vcr etc.
dont think that will work will it?
