I am getting so pissed off now!



I don't know if I am going into my 4th or 5th week of not being well? I had some anti-biotics 2 weeks ago and they seemed to be doing the trick, but I finished the course and was not 100%, so I went back to GP's and I saw some bloke who changed my anti-biotics and gave me 2 other things to take........well slowly I have been getting worse!!!! I can't talk, I am as deaf as a door post, my glands in my neck are sooo sore, I have ear-ache & a head-ache and I just can't get into the Christmas spirit of things and don't want to help to get things done!

I am off to the Doctor's tonight AGAIN!!!! I have not yet seen my own GP.....I am hoping that this time I get to see her, as she seems to be the only one that can do her job! I am also going to ask for an extended course of anti-biotics so I have a better chance of being OK for Christmas!

Anyone else not well or suffering? x

Some vodka ... a bottle of it! You'll be so drunk you won't care then the next day you'll be hungover that you won't be thinking about that

I have new anti-biotics, which are double the dose and a 10 day course, a beconase nasal spray & decongestants.............

Watch out Christmas here I come!!!!

And before you say "no alcohol over christmas"........I don't care I just wanna be better and be able to enjoy it with all my family!!

aww tam i know exactly how u feel, thi is my third week of feelng like pooh! the first week i just felt weak and unusually tired, then i became really dizzy and faint and now ive a sore throat which is agony, flu with feeling sensitive naseaus, headache etc. The dictor did bloods last week which were normal i thought i mustve been anaemic but they were all normal so he thinks ive got a weird virus.it just wont go away! i feel so pooh im only gettin 3 hours sleep a nite!

so i know how u feel...like it just wont shift! hopeful it wil leave us be soon!

I was told to have 2 tablets straight away when I got them last night, so I did, I had 1,250mg of multi anti-biotic which was only 250g under a days worth of my original courses.......so I went to bed at 8pm too, and already I feel a bit more human, not a lot but it is a start! x

im glad your feelin a bit better today i am aswell...managed to get 6 hours sleep! Praise the lord! Ive been up sonce before 6am...starting to get an idea of what its like to have a newborn . My OH went back to work yesterday as hes nearly recovered, heres hoping were on the mend! My house is a complete tip hardly a clean dish as weve both been dying for over a week! I feel for you as you have bambino to look after too...dont know how u do it!

forgot to ask did they do any tests or tell you if its def an infection? dont want to freak you out but it sounds a bit like mumps i had that the other year. Id had my MMR (measles mumps amd rubella) but they had just found out that you actually need to get a mumps booster after i think its about 10 years beofre they thought the one off injection would be enough.

Are you ridiculously tired sore swollen glands (neck) and sore throat? I also realised there are glands in your armpits and groin when i had it as i had pain there too. Theres not antiobiotics for it takes a while to leave your system.

Have you been tested for galndular fever or have you had any kidney/urinary style problems?

I had my throat looked at which wierdly was all clear, yet I croak when I can talk, but spend most of the time in silence as I have no voice he looked in my ears, one he can't see anything as I have so much wax but that was caused by original infection, so not sure if that has cleared or not, but explains why I am sooo deaf.....and defo infection in other ear. Glands are swollen and very tender, but chest and lungs all clear! I am tired, but that is due to another tablet I have been on from last doctors visit I think......so I will see how this goes, but keep that in mind thanks hun! x
