So I got a nice suprise today. My mom told me she was meeting up with a lady at my house because she was bringing a bird in that my mom was going to adopt. My mom told me the lady didn't know calgary at all and was coming from the south so this was the best place to meet. So we baked cookies and listened to christmas music and had a nice time. Then these two ladies walk in with gifts in towe and they are like stephanie? Are u stephanie? I'm like ummmmmm...... yeah.... I was totally bewildered!
And it turns out they were from the local radio station CJAY92!!! My mom wrote to them to tell them about our situation and that any little bit would help us out so we ended up getting a 500 dollar cheque, a toy for each of the girls, 100 dollar gift card for CO-OP, wallmart and 50 bucks for blockbuster. I was so shocked!
So that was such a great christmas gift and it was so exciting! I am soo touched by what she did for us. It's so great having a family that cares so much. So I have some money for presents

Yeah I was definetely in shock and was crying pretty good when I hugged my mom. I am a very lucky girl to have such a loving and caring family. My mom is just so wonderful. I'm so happy
