You baste it with the juices that come out the turkey...........you can also add your baked potatoes, parsnips, carrots etc and baste them with the juices too......

I'm Currently Feeling: 


This is how my husband does it and its pretty much fool proof:

Thaw turkey in fridge for a 4-5 days or soak in water for a few hours and change water every half hour

Rinse the turkey inside and out. Get the jiblets out (sometimes the jiblets aren't in the body cavity- ours was in some pouch of skin on the outside the first time)

Take a stick of butter and rub it all over the bird and stick any remaining into the cavity.

Put in the oven at whatever temp the turkey package says. Weight depends how long you cook it.

The first hour leave it alone. Then every half hour after that baste it with the juices that are inside the turkey/pan.

We don't do stuffing so no advice on that part. Have fun!
