Took my daughter to clarks yesterday to get her feet measured for some new shoes... I was with my OH. We waited ages in the que n when it came to her turn she was havin none of it. She had a tantrum n would no way let that woman measure her feet. Was really embarrasing as everyone was waiting. My OH wasnt nasty but he said 'come on amelia people are waiting, have your feet measured.. u want some new shoes' blah blah... the woman walked away and said 'ohhh calm yourselves down and i'll come back'. hmmm what does she mean 'calm ourselves down'. That for a start pissed me off cuz it was only my daughter that was irrate about having her feet measured. To top it all off I looked around and if looks could kill I would be dead. Other mothers who were waiting in a que were giving me the worst looks just because my girl was playing up. I mean come on... kids act like this.. They made me feel like such a bad mother who couldnt even get her child to have her feet measured. My daughter is 2 in 4 months time. Surely they go through it with their kids sometimes?! Well - came home with NO new shoes and a feeling of 'crappiness'.

I think if I was you I would contact Clarks main office and make a little complaint about the store. Thats just not on at all

I was annoyed but the more I think of it the more wound up I get. I am trying to forget it now, although I should complain really as she made a fool of us infront of loadsa people. I aint 'really' the complainin type tho n tend to let people walk all over me. I wont use that clarks again anyhow.. I'll be travellin to a different branch!

Complain, if I were you.. my little girl wouldn't be the only one having a tantrum and if have told the other women exactly what I thought. That is out of order, definitely make a complaint - make sure you get the womans name.

Don't let it get to you, all kids play up sometimes!
