Blimey I only got 50p for the first and then 20p for the rest...except the one Mum tried to get out (she was fed up of it being loose) and I swallowed, I got a quid for that one I think Mum *ahem* tooth fairy felt guilty.

I got told the little black stalky bit in the end of a banana was poison - I still pick it off now and am 40!

I love all these!! I can't think atm but ill be back!!

I was told:

1. Eating the crusts on toast/bread would make my hair curly and for the longest time refused to eat it as my hair was already curly

2. If not in bed by the time Santa came, he would leave me coal

3. Easter Bunny, Toothfairy, Santa Clause

4. Eating Carrots would make me have good vision... I apparently started eating so many my skin started to turn an orangish colour, then I was told peas would make me grow

5. I had to put fairy dust out for Santa to find my house

6. If you eat apple seeds or fruit seeds they will grow inside you.

7. An apple a day, will keep doctor away.

8. If I didnt brush my teeth they would all fall out and I wouldn't be able to talk anymore.

9. If you pick your nose and eat it you would get worms growing in your tummy.

10. One time the "toothfairy" didnt take my teeth or leave money, and I was soo upset, and my parents told me she was on vacation in Florida, and couldn't make the flight in one night!!

Looking back on these it is rather funny that we were so gullible!!

Oh.... I love these.... Here's another one..... Well, it's my DH.

Today, I was tickling our nephew's feet, and he told me not to, because he would grow up talking with a studder!!!!! He was 100% serious when he said that, and I almost peed my pants when he said it! I wonder who told him that one?! LOL......

I believed it as well! In French, it does actually makes a little sense... Dandelion is pissenlit, which sounds a lot like "pisse au lit" (wetting the bed)!

I also believed that if you bit your nails, you'd get appendicitis.
And that eating your soup made you grow (or grow your boobs).
And that if you peed in the pool, a red cloud would follow you for the rest of the day...

i was told if you pee'd in the swimming pool the water would go a funny colour and follow you around so everyone would know you had pee'd!

omg such a shame but.... at xmas here joani always sneaks thro early to see per presents before wakin us up... so every yr OH takes the handle off the livingroom door Joani now thinks thats what santa does in every house

Lmao - I found out santa wasn't real when I was 5, I went downstairs and found my parents wrapping the presents and putting them under the tree, I was devastated
