quick baking qu!

i'm just doin some cookin for my baby for the week . Just come to make her some homemade rice pudding and the recipe says to add 2 tablespoons of caster sugar (superfine). I never even realised there was a different kind of grain really Do you think regular caster sugar would be okay or i think we've got some brown sugar in? Also does anyone think 2 tablespoons is a bit much? The recipe makes 4 portions though - i'm not sure.

I have a pestle and mortar and use it mainly for show

Normal sugar would be fine and 2 tablespoons sounds about right.
