A boy?!?!

Hi all,

Basically was in Boots today and this KNOBHEAD said "Boy or girl?" so I said "shes a girl" (without wanting to point out the obvious fluffy, feminine coat, hat with a bow and pink socks.. but anyway) then he said, completely unnecessarily "I thought it was a boy..."

So be honest with me (you really won't upset me!!) does Bethanie look like a boy at all? or is it because all babies look similar? or.. because he's just a twat? it shouldn't be bothering me still, I know! but im still pissed off about it. To top it off, he had the biggest monobrow ever and I felt like saying "well, me and my daughter both think you should get that waxed off, love" but I didn't want to be nasty. I SOO wish I had now!!!

Honest comments/bitching appreciated lol

Hun, my daughter is the most girly lookin little girl ever. She has INSANELY long eyelashes and long curly hair, and has forever. When she was under a year old and we were at the store, and she was wearing ALL bright pink. This guy walks up and starts talking about how she's a sturdy looking boy. YEAH. It couldn't have been more obvious that she was a girl. I think with younger babies and kids it's sometimes hard to tell, but people aren't so good at seeing the obvious anyway. Don't worry about it- it happened more than once to me too!

(((hugs)))

I think til babies are about a year old, it can be hard to tell if they're girls or boys....I can't always tell anyway, so it may hav been that (btw I don't think she looks like a boy!)

But FFS....pink fluffy clothes and he thinks Bethanie is a boy?! FFS

Don't worry about him, he's obviously a jerk!

Bethanie is such a cute little girl, and she looks like ALL girl to me hun Some babies you can't tell when they're that little, but I guess i'd have gotten a bit offended too!

So yes, try and forget about him, your daughter is adorable.

She looks like a little girl to me.

A girl i went to school with her a baby in April 05 and We were at the store today and he was about a month old and he was in all boy clothing and a lady asked "boy or girl" and my friend said "boy".

I think that guy was just a jerk. If she was wearing obvious girls clothes then i think it would be quite obvious and he is either blind or an a-hole.
