I have started to tell people that baby number 4 is on its way (i am 17 weeks, and hard to hide now). We have 3 daughters and REALLY REALLY do not mind what the sex of this one is. A boy would make a change, but we are a very girl orientated house so another girl would fit in easily. Why oh why do people have to say, ' trying for a boy this time, bet your husband hopes its not another girl, haven't you heard of contraception? etc etc. Don't waste my time or energy on a reply. Right feel better now. Thankyou.

some people are so stupid,

I keep getting "bet you want a boy, that would be perfect". I keep having to say "boy or girl will be perfect thanks"

We have two girls and are expecting our third, and I hate the question "Are you sad it's not a boy?" I have told people we weren't sad the first time we had a girl or the second time and we still aren't sad it's a girl. Some people are just idiots.

All I can say is, haven't you heard of contraception??



















Just kidding you just need to ignore/laugh off those kind of comments, it's not worth getting upset over. It used to annoy me when we bought pink clothes and would hear "what if it's a boy!!".. erm if it's a boy, who gives a shit.. we'll take them back.

Maybe just reply with something like 'pregnancy and birth is a miracle and a major blessing in itself, we're lucky either way so long as our baby is healthy' if they carry on just tell them that many people cannot have children so taking that into account you feel extra blessed.
