My Poor Kitty!

Off to get her done in the next 45 minutes!

Poor things had no food or water since about 4 yesterday - it was up to 6 she was allowed food & water - I put some out of course she had a nibble and at 7 hadn't even bothered she ended up sitting on the futon near my desk looking at me as if to say "ok woman wheres my bowls & food" late yesterday Next Ive to get her into her basket

Anyone know what they are like when they have been done? Can't remember what its called now and Im half asleep!

She should be fine tonight, make sure she is kept in though as she may be a bit drowsy, They may send you home with some food, its just bland diet high protein. or they may suggest giving her a little fish, egg, or rice as a small meal.
If she has stitches you'll need to keep an eye to make sure she doesnt pull at them but alot of vets now use glue so there may be nothing much too see.

Good luck!

Shes been ok lately! Kinda banging my head off wall Ive been dying for her to do it so I can do thepepper trick lmao! One thing we did sort of notice is she does it just before she starts rubbing her ass on your leg etc you know what I mean and with this being done well shes not going to be doing that. *Fingers crossed* I'd hate to get rid of her & would like to start letting her out.

We got my female cat fixed when she was about 6 months old and she was still very very hyper. She ended up hurting herself at the vet because they allowed her to run around so the healing time was longer. Plus we had to give her medications. When we brought her home we couldn't keep her under control so we had to empty out our office (smallest room in the house) so that she couldn't jump on anything and locked her in here with a bed, litter, her food and water. Not trying to scare you or anything You should be fine because it sounds as though your cat is older and probably not as active as a 6 month old kitten. We did find that our cat has calmed down since being spayed, but I don't know if that's because she was spayed or because she's gotten older, probably a combination of both! You'll want to check the incision a couple of times a day until it heals, to make sure there is no swelling or puss and they may give you pain medicine for her.
