Im after a Fifi and the Flowertots cake for Bethanie's 1st birthday, anyone know where I can get one? I know Tesco do that photo on a cake thing, but does that have to be personal photos only?
I don't know where you'd get one of those but I know Tesco won't put a copyrited picture on a cake. I wanted a Winnie The Pooh one a few years back and they wouldn't do it
My little girl had a Fifi cake last year, & it was from Asda. I know they still do it because she wanted the same one this year, but then changed her mind to the Bratz cake, lol!!! Asda's cakes are lovely!!!
Tesco, Asda etc wont print anything like fifi etc on a cake, This is because they are copyright.
I got a cake done for my Great Grandparents Diamond wedding anneversary and because they were professional photographs from his wedding and not over 80 years old they're not allowed to print them due to them being copyright for 80 years.
What made it worse is she asked what the cake was for, in which I said Diamond anniversary, meaning obviously 60 years she then turned round and said... Oh are the pictures over 80 years old then.
Eventually I twisted their arm.
My best advise would be to go into a local cake makers shop. They maybe able to help more than the big supermarket chains.
Im sure ive seen fifi cakes in the supermarkets before though.
