Bullying

Following on from a thread Toria posted before, just wondered how many of you were bullied at school or, (be honest) were ever involved in bullying yourself?

I was badly bullied in secondary school and it has had a pretty big affect on how I am as an adult. I also suffered quite a lot of medical issues as a result of it. Like Toria said, I am scared of Poppy ever having to go though that in the future

I don't know if its classed as bullying but a fell out with a large group of girls and had stuff said about me. They never said anything to my face, just behind my back.

I also had a girl from 6th form start on me on myspace years ago cos she thought i was trying to steal her bf! I told her if it was such a big problem she could come say it to my face in maths the next day, of course she never said anything to me for the rest of the two years!

Bullys are cowards, who only do it because of there own insecurities. I think they put a big front up because they think if they do then people won't start on them.

I was bullied beyond belief in secondary school. So much that I was taken out of school by social services for fear of my safety.
I had to be home schooled but never got to do my GCSE's. So that has a really big hold over me getting decent jobs.
I would really hate for anyone I know, let alone a child of mine, to have to go through what I did.
I'd say its had a massive affect on my adult life. I'm scared of everyone!

I was bullied from grade 4-9 (until I moved away and switched schools) It was bad enough I had a bad home life, but this girl always put me down... and I still perferred school life being bullied by this girl, than the bullying/abuse my adoptive parents put me through. It is an awful experience

I was picked on a lot from grade 7 up until grade 11. I didn't have the stylish clothes as we didn't have much money, my mom was strict so I didn't get to do the things the other kids were doing, I had good grades, etc. I would never want to go back to my school years.

Funny, college came around and I became the popular one. LOL

I had a similar experience... didn't wear stylish clothes, had short boy hair, because my adoptive parents forced me to, wasnt allowed out of the house, or to do anything normal kids were allowed to do...

Then, when I moved away, my social status changed-drastically!
