i have never done it if im honest, im sure there has to be a gap between having tattoos and giving blood, and i have never left a long enough gao between having my tats done

You're right Layla, you have to leave it a year after having any tattoos or piercings.
I gave regularly at Ninewells until I became pregnant and I'll be going back once I'm able to (think you have to have stopped BF to give again). It's something everyone should seriously consider, especially if you have a less common blood type. My mum and her partner were both called in to donate last week as they only had 2 days left of B- blood in store, so I know that they are really desperate.
Oh and you do get some nice biscuits after it all.
i have d0ne it does not hurt did mine in 4mins first time and fainted s idid not each much make sure u eat 3 good meals u go through out the day not all at once
