Does anyone know of any genuine work from home jobs?

Hi everyone!!

Does anyone know of any geniune work from home jobs? I mean the type where you don't have to pay to get started, I don't want to start my own business or sell things on the internet.

I just want to do something a couple of hours a day, I'm not looking to make a fortune, I just want to earn a bit of money from something genuine!!

Something like data input or something I could do on the computer would be good.

Surely there must be some genuine jobs that us mums can do from home to earn us a bit of extra money.

If anyone knows of anything I'd love to know - I've trawled the internet for hours and it's just scam after scam!!

Hey! I am not sure if you are looking for an "actual" job or just something on the side.. But I am a medical transcriptionist and I work from home. It is wonderful! You do have to go through schooling for it though.. so I am not sure if that is something you are wanting to do. If so.. I went through an online school CareerStep. You can look at the information at CareerStep.com if you are interested. They also have medical coding.. but as far as I know.. you have to work at the hospital to do that.

I own a bookkeeping business and I have 5 employees that all work from home. I work from home as well (well, 2 -1/2 days a week I have to be at client offices). Do you have bookkeepers in the UK?

All the real work at home jobs that I have found have a waiting list and even in the disclaimer it says chances of you getting a job is unlikely.

Holldoll. I have plenty of bookkeeping exp, are you looking for part time help?

Do you have QB experience? Right now, I'm looking for someone that can work close by, in Alameda and Fremont, but in the future (when I have the baby) I will probably need someone else.

I sold Avon products for a bit. Was pretty simple and made a decent amount of money.
