| Hello
I've been doing Avon for nearly 18months now. I enjoy it, I know loads more people around my local streets etc so there's normally always someone saying hello to me when out shopping etc lol. Also there are some lovely products (so yes I do spend a fair bit of my commission on those )
I would recommend it as you choose your hours, you can add to your territory or reduce it as needed and its good fun. It's also quite hard work (esp if you can't drive like me!) and I wouldn't say you earn a fortune, but at least its something.
Best Wishes,

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hiya
I tries Avon a few years ago but found it was lots of work from not much money, especially as there are a few people in my area doing it already.
I currently do a party plan thing called Temple Spa (a bit like virgin vie), it's good money, but I'm thinking of giving it up because I have to go out to peoples homes, it's also hard work doing all the admin side of it and actually getting the parties, and I want something I can do in my own home, so when DH is out I don't need to worry about getting a babysitter.
I thought about starting doing ironing for people - but I've no idea where to start or how much to charge!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ironing is a good idea, you could just advertise probably quite cheeply in your local paper. I would ring round some places that currently do it pretend your a customer and enquire how much they charge. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Jo
Hows thing going for you?
I thought ironing would be good cos I can do it at home in my own time while watching telly!!
That's a good idea, I'll do a bit of market research and see how much people charge.
I thought about doing some leaflets on my computer and posting them through the letterboxes of the big houses in my area! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I looked into getting some one to do my ironing once but they were all polish...
I think its a good idea though. Id definately pay some one to do my ironing. I just never have time, it wont be so bad once im off on maternity but at the moment i work full time and have so much on, its a night mare. Infact its that much of a nightmare to get it done i spent £150 on a steam generator to reduce ironing time. LoL |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey Finlays Mummy
I'm fine thanks, yer flyers on your computer would be good and target the posh houses! I hate ironing so would denfinately consider paying someone if the price was reasonable. |
