My mum takes in a mixture of short term and long term-a girl who we has for 9 years just left us a couple of weeks ago, to begin a likfe where she is more independent for herself, its so sad. We still hear ad see her all the time (she became pg so mum fostered her lil baby too!)
She has had loads of short term, but short term can go up to a few years!
I would definitley consider it Imi, it is rewarding but not a job to do with a buba. Maddie will be hard enuf work as it is!
