Your in California - Is this not close to you

Thankfully Im well out of harms way. I am a good 8 hrs from there. But it is really really sad. I heard this morning that over 1 Million people have now been evacuated. There are 4-5 fires burning right now. But the winds have died down today and they might be able to make some head way on containing the fires. Alot of people didnt even have alot of warning. They basicly had to leave Right then and there.

I was watching a special on 20/20 last night about it. It's so sad to see and hear. Glad to know you're out of harms way. My prayers are with those who are....

I think that there are a few newer members that have said they are in Sothern California so I really hope they are doing ok...

I didn't want to go OTT (I was silently panicing) but I was glad to chase your posts and see you posted around 4am our time - OH said they evacuated many hourssss before so I was a bit relieved ... ok very!

I am glad your ok and your far away from all this. So very sad for those close & effected by this though
