Wedding cake ideas - Page 4

this is our wedding cake we had a friend make our cake toppers to look like us ish! and hubby made and decorated the cake it was lemon sponge with lime marmalade center!!

That didn't stop one couple from leaving their baby in her crib with one bottle for a week. Didn't end well, the frakking idiots.

And Cody works at Apple too! He's a Genius. Haha! Love the job titles. I tease him all the time. Started as a Specialist, then overheard his managers talking about needing to add another Genius after being there about two months, and he said he could do it, and since he had background doing it, he was promoted. His coworkers are absolutely amazing and have been so supportive when he's needed time off for appointments. I <3 Apple.

What does your hubby do? If he's not a Genius yet, tell him that if he gets promoted, hell be sent out here for training! That was a gyp - everyone gets a trip to Cupertino, all expenses paid, for two weeks, when becoming a Genius. Food, etc.. But Cody didn't because we lived within walking distance of headquarters at the time. Boogers! But it's really is a great place to work, and your DH is lucky to be there. Apple has somehow not been hit very bad by the recession. They're one of the few companies still hiring!! So your DH and Cody are both about as secure in their jobs as it's possible to be right now. Also Apple, at least in this area, has amazing medical benefits in tht they chose a package with some fertility coverage!! I hope it's that way where you are, that they have good plans. Their choosing this plan is the only reason I'm pregnant right now, so I'm all kinds of grateful to Apple.

Oh, and yes, Steve Jobs really does frequent the Palo Alto store. It's no big deal to see him walking around, although he hasn't been in since Christmas because he's sick.

Oh jeeze, a week? That's bad. I could never do that, as fun as WOW is, Kathryn is much more fun.

Yah my hubby is a specialist now (does some one to one training though) and he's going to be at the next Creative training (he just couldn't make it to the past few) So he can hopefully be promoted to full Creative soon. And yes the medical benefits are wonderful, we are so lucky, Kathryn has a wonderful pediatrician! We're on the east coast so no one important ever come to the store. My DH also has awesome coworkers, he's even working on an iphone app with a couple of them.

Oh and the cake toper idea is bril, we wanted to do a WOW inspired cake, but I'm not that skilled!
