Fruit cake. I have decided fruit cake MUST be one of the flavors served at my wedding, made by me, aged at least a month in rum. OMFG, it's soooooo insanely good! there are amazing fruitcakes, and then there are terrible ones. I've turned some friends who adamantly hated fruitcakes into fans by having them try a properly-made, home-made fruit cake rather than the over-sugared store-bought crap-cakes. The only fruit cake I like is the one I make, which is a family recipe.
I make our christmas fruit cake (only cos I think I should) from an old family recipe, with LOTS of alcohol, and it is one of the better ones, although the only reason I make it is for the marzipan and icing

Warcraft would eat my soul, so I've refrained, just barely. Big geeks, eh? We wouldn't have met without Digg.com, met on their message forum, and our first one-on-one event together (even though it was platonic at that time) was to the one and only Computer History Museum for Vintage Computer Festival 9.0 to see Woz give a presentation.

So cool. Warcraft would eat my soul too if it weren't for Kathryn not giving us too much time to play. Oh and we are such geeks that my DH works at the Apple store and absolutely loves it

we actually looked into getting our warcraft characters made in wedding attire as our cake topper, but it was too expensive for our budget.

The bottom layer was normal sponge cake, with chocolate swirls around the outside. The top layer was chocolate cake with white chocolate swirls around the outside. We had our wedding cake as a pudding to the evening buffet... it was so yummmy!
