Yeah the team play like crap at the start of the world cup, get beaten by SA 36-0, then turn it round to reach the finals when everyone had written them off. They lose again to SA but by considerably less and play well. Bloody hell what is it about this country and turning on their sport stars so quickly. I personally think that they did well, they got a lot further then anyone else thought they would and they should be proud of themselves.
I personally think we did brilliant. We were not let down by them Tiff, they were written off by everyone at the beginning of the tournament and actually made it to the final to defend the title. It's worth remembering that no country has ever successfully defended their title.
Oh, and we were robbed anyway - that was a bloody try! If they had been granted that, it would have been a completely different game.
i now we were written off at the start but they always let us down at the end like always thats all im saying and u know its true coz we didnt win it did we?
They didn't let us down, they played their socks off, but at the end of the day, we had a try disallowed and (and I hate to admit this), we were outplayed by SA. It's not that we didn't play well, it's just that they played better, but there was absolutely nothing that we could have done about that.
If they had been granted that, it would have been a completely different game.
